Finding the balance between control and freedom is healthy & sustainable.

Explore these polar movement qualities in your body and you’ll see how they affect you physically and emotionally.

When I practiced complete control, I used up my energy really quickly. My facial expression and neck movement were very restricted. Even though it felt good for the first 10 seconds, it got really tiring, really quickly.

When I let go of all control, I felt out of control. I lost my balance, came close to falling, and had no direction. It was fun at first, but then it was too unpredictable and even unsafe.

Finding the balance between the two was highly satisfying and sustainable. I could’ve kept dancing in that space for a much longer time, had I not already been exhausted.

This is an important revelation about how we practice control and let go in our lives!
